About Bruceville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The small town of Bruceville, Indiana is home to about 480 residents. Located in Knox County, this community is part of Washington Township. Settled in 1805, Bruceville later welcomed a visit from Abraham Lincoln in 1844, at which time he gave a speech to support politician Henry Clay. Bruceville is only eight miles northeast of Vincennes, and Bicknell is seven miles east of Bruceville along IN-67.

There are several unique places in Bruceville. This town is the Home of the Big Peach, which includes a farm market with local produce, honey, jams, and jellies, and the Bruceville Flash Backyard Roller Coaster. The local gas station, Lucky’s Hilltop Mark, offers fuel and convenience food items, and the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club is a popular location to get a meal or have a cold beverage. The White Oak State Fishing Area is also a notable recreation area in the area, offering a wealth of wildlife and fishing opportunities.

The Bruceville area is known for its humid subtropical climate, and while the region tends to be warmer than more northern parts of the U.S., heating systems are still needed at home. The warmer autumn months are an ideal time to service home furnace systems, especially since wintertime lows often fall below freezing overnight. Snowfall accumulation is relatively low at only about 12 inches per year, but frigid temperatures alone are enough to make conditions dangerous. A reliable furnace is needed to stay warm throughout the season.

Summers in Bruceville are hot and humid. Average daily highs reach into the upper-80s, but thermostat readings into the mid-90s are perfectly common. When these oppressively hot conditions move into the area, residents are grateful to have a central air conditioner at home. Local HVAC technicians can ensure these systems are operating at top efficiency, which will save residents money in the long run.
